Supply Chain?
Can someone explain to be how a particular product gets from one country to another, e.g. spice from India to supermarket in UK.
So the supply chain from producer to consumer. Thanks!

This is the business of cargo forwarders /
cargo brokers.
The supplier from India will package its
products in shipping containers then contact
a cargo forwarder that will handle
documentation and shipment to the
destination ( say UK )
Using the prepared documentation, another
broker or an affliate cargo forwarder in UK
will get the shipment from the pier/airport
then deliver the products to the buyer. The
buyer normally pays the expenses incurred
from the pier/airport to his place of business.
